Redwood City Art Center, established in 1993 with support from the City Council of Redwood City, is dedicated to promoting visual arts in the local community. The Art Center’s approximately 10,000 square feet is home to 31 artists in 25 studios. The space also has three small galleries for art exhibitions that are open to the public. Resident artists work in many mediums, including drawing, painting, Chinese calligraphy, murals, mixed media, assemblage, photography, book arts, and jewelry design. We seek to encourage and attract artists of all ages and talents and offer classes in many disciplines to both children and adults. In-need scholarships are available.
