Carmel Adams, Profile:

Carmel is a third generation San Franciscan. She attended St. Finn Barr Elementary School and Star of the Sea High School in San Francisco. She currently resides in San Francisco and is the proud mother of her daughter who is in her final year of Graduate school at Boston University and on the road to becoming a Physical Therapists.

For the last ten years Carmel’s passion has been watercolor painting. Mostly self taught she has studied with some of the best professional artists in the Bay Area. She is in love with capturing the essence and joy of flowers. But also finds a connection to other subjects and will occasionally paint fruits, trains and other items that attract her attention. She currently paints with the San Francisco Watercolor Community, Leona Moriarty at Burlingame Park and Rec, and Guy Magallanes. After a forty plus year career in Accounts Payable Carmel found herself having to change careers. And her newfound passion is Real Estate. She is currently waiting approval to sit at the California State Licensing Exams and hopes to get her real estate license soon.

She also enjoys volunteering for the Burlingame Art Society and the Peninsula Arts Council. Learning new things and sharing her talents in the non-profit arts community keeps her energized.
